A few different angles inside the incubator and squeakers the bull-riding pheasant chick!!!! Squeakers is very playful thus the blurry pictures.....he kept trying to peck the camera

Squeakers and 27 quailies successfully moved to the brooder!!!! 3 more quailies still a bit gooey so left in the bator!!! 60% hatch rate in first 24 hours.....not too shabby!!!!

Well squeakers has graduated from bull riding to quail stomping (sorry for the red light but I think my brooder plate is busted and temps are too cool for nothing!!!

I have 26 in the brooder, one still gooey in the incubator, plus 12 eggs still unhatched. I’m about 28 hours from the first hatch, but I set like 10 or so eggs the morning after I had set the rest at night. I’m at an ominous 66.6 % hatch rate so far.

Im going to bed, 30 hatched, one looks to have wry neck and shriveled, curled toes, probably a result of the turner, I’ll see how he does overnight. 9 left, most are pipped.

My babies have finaly grown big enough to become aggressive and the roosters are fighting. I’m going to butcher my roosters but I was wondering if I can keep two in my big hutch just in case my older males dies. Right now I have 9 hens and want 2 roosters. The cage is 3ft by 8ft. Will this work or will it be a issue? Planing on having more hens Pritt soon

Size, color, personality.....depends on your goals
