I have looked and looked and googled and looked some more. My DH is not a carpenter. So it has to be a coop for dummies type thing. So knowing that plywood comes in 4'x8'... that's where I am going with. Less cutting, less fancy. Secure and functional. I have more of a chance of it getting done in a fast manner. And it would be mainly for sleeping. They free range all day long. But in TN, we do have winter and it will sometimes snow, which I've read chickens don't like. But a covered section that can be kept dry can come a little later when more funds become available. If that makes sense.

They're silly about snow for the first few days, but as long as it isn't over their head they're fine in a few days.
