➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

EIGHT FEET!?
y’all. I couldn’t dig a hole for a rose bush with my damn hand trowel. You’re killing me.

What if I tie it to the truck as is and try pulling it out? I can’t imagine the mess that would make if it actually came up.
YouTube this with a live.

People WANT these monsters?
The problem is that I’m home alone most of the time and I’m wary of craigslist strangers showing up at my house.

Ugh... what if I chop the whole thing off to the base, dig up as much as my noodle arms can take, and drench the area in roundup all summer?
Mine aren't the sharp kind.
I bought this one in the first picture 20 years ago.

I dig up the babies every few years and plant it somewhere else.
The second picture is a baby.

So, should I dare to mention that the field where these yuccas are growing here is a flood plain? It gets soggy wet all spring and fall, freezes hard in winter, and dries to a crisp in summer. And the yuccas endure it all. Bulletproof. I'd probably cut them off with a pruning saw and paint the stumps with weed killer concentrate until they quit growing back. Or learn to love them. Take your pick.

I don't think you can kill them.
I haven't actually tried but they seem to live through everything.
