Do I have to really flood it? Or just water the area once a day? There is no need to use Roundup. Just keep it really wet and it will die.

YouTube this with a live.EIGHT FEET!?
y’all. I couldn’t dig a hole for a rose bush with my damn hand trowel. You’re killing me.
What if I tie it to the truck as is and try pulling it out? I can’t imagine the mess that would make if it actually came up.
Mine aren't the sharp kind.People WANT these monsters?
The problem is that I’m home alone most of the time and I’m wary of craigslist strangers showing up at my house.
Ugh... what if I chop the whole thing off to the base, dig up as much as my noodle arms can take, and drench the area in roundup all summer?
I don't think you can kill them. So, should I dare to mention that the field where these yuccas are growing here is a flood plain? It gets soggy wet all spring and fall, freezes hard in winter, and dries to a crisp in summer. And the yuccas endure it all. Bulletproof. I'd probably cut them off with a pruning saw and paint the stumps with weed killer concentrate until they quit growing back. Or learn to love them. Take your pick.
The person who told me was that they would dig a circle around the Yucca and keep it full of water.Do I have to really flood it? Or just water the area once a day?
