So....we took the woodpecker out for above photo shoot.

He tries to bite me. I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry.

Does that mean he loves me?

Yup. Baby ducklings are quite mouthy.

Can you tell them apart?

Sure can. They're adorable. Might want to band one so you can tell them apart as they grow. They change so fast.

Oh yes you will. Back when I got my (kind of) first ducks, there were two females of the same breed. Even obsessive ol' me eventually lost track of which one was which when they were in their crazy growing stage. I swear they didn't look the same in the evening that they did in the morning.

Surely there is something to distinguish the 2 apart, besides size? They will grow fast and the size can flip flop over night!
