I learned everything I needed to know right here on the forum. Read the stickies and the quail forum. They need a higher protein to be healthy and lay well. Search on your specific questions and you will find the answers.Where is the best quail reference? I mean besides here. utube is all over the map. As usual. I like the ones that humanize the quail. Treat them like you would like to be treated.

Everything is a variation on chickens. Ducks are messy, hungry water chickens. Guineas are dumb stupid awful nasty chickens. Goats are giant browsing milk-producing chickens. Dogs are loud carnivorous potty--train-able chickens.Done and did. Still think I missed something. I like Batty's "treat them like small, spazzy chickens" comment. I grok this.
