The fitbit app will act as your GPS tracker. Just saying, leave your phone at home if you are … um … well, not expecting any calls.

I don't have a mobile phone. I put the application on a tablet that doesn't leave the house and I have the security settings as locked down as I can get them.

I have never liked making phone calls, so with the advent of the Internet I took the option of changing the bulk of my communication to E-mail based. I don't know anybody I want to talk to urgently enough to bother carrying a phone around.

That and they are AMAZINGLY slow. I mean, 3 days from pip? OK, so you haven't hatched yet & this is your first time, but get on with it.

Besides anytime I think it would be anywhere near a passable idea, I go back and read your threads. I'm cured. I've checked and the incubator does NOT have a fast forward button. It's like Christmas everyday.

We found a non-shelled egg, or even membrane egg on the duck/goose run floor... excuse how gross the floor is, the run made it so muddy and nasty

Only problem is? It sure looks fertile...but we don’t have any male waterfowl. We’ve gotten 4 eggs several times in the duck/goose coop from 3 ducks and 1 goose...so what is this? Perhaps we have a non-decisive on gender duck?

If it's under a year old they will replace it for free. Call them...they can look up when you bought it by your email address.

Stopped working. I was told they tend to lie. Usually followed by the person who was so proud of it, stopping talking and wearing it.

Crazy Lady threatened to get me one. "It's a good idea", she said...

I tried the customer assistance route back when it stopped working several years ago. I was told it was my fault and it needed a new battery. The thing was, I had replaced the battery the month before. It would randomly just stop working, screen completely blank. It was supposed to notify me when it got low and never did. I could take the battery out and put it back in, and it would work again, showing that it had at least a partial charge. Since the customer service people were full of bs and I was tired of my steps not counting, I just stopped using it.

I’m thinking the same. I just opened all of the duck/goose eggs we got today and none had this bullseye on them..maybe a chicken somehow laid an egg in there?
