I filled up my car today as well. I still had 1/4 of a tank left but since I was at the store, I figured I'd go ahead and top it off while I was there. I got my gas from Kroger and had fuel points saved up (had $1 off ). I get the premium and with my fuel points, I only paid $1.09 (I think it was) a gallon. It took less than $11 bucks to fill up my car LOL! I kept the receipt because I wanted to show my hubby but I will be damned if I can find it. It's not in the car, in my purse or in my pocket (where I think I actually put it). I hate that I lost it.

They most certainly do count. I saw my first purple mustard bloom of the season yesterday.

Did you plant the dandelions or did they naturalize? Surprise the chickens have let them get big enough to bloom.

When I pick spinach, kale or chard for lunch, I toss a leaf in with the quail. One of them attacks it first and the others join. Only one coop does this. The others trample the leaves.

I await with baited breath! As you can see, I'm confined to suburbia and the HOA is not pleased with my gardening choices. I stand out a little bit.

I only got 35 cents off per gallon with my Kroger points. I need to shop at Kroger's more.

I set 37 more eggs today, and locked down 7. I have 3 duck eggs going into lockdown the beginning of next week. One of them had a rolling air cell when I first set it—I am shocked it has survived; usually they live maybe a day, if at all.
