The sugar water didn’t seem to work great for me. Anyone have any other tactics for deterring bees?

Two test options. Both require the plate of sugar water still.
a) in a plate next sugar water have crush feed on a plate for bees. And by crushed, I mean darn near powder style & dry
b) same as above but, slightly soaked in water or sugar water

One of the two eggs hatched this morning.
It was black. It passed away for an unknown reason.

It’s now buried along with little Blondie .
