I'm thinking Chippy is a boy too, unfortunately. The black ones both look like girls.

Peanut, my cochin mix bantam decided to switch to a different nest and refused to make her nest in the place that I chose..
Luckily I have another broody- a Buff Cochin banty.
She seems to like the spot I chose for her. I picked out 8 different eggs for her.

The buff cochin bantam ended up giving up as well, so I went back to the buff cochin mix (Peanut) and now she’s sitting well for almost a week!

This one is 100% a pullet.

Chippy is still iffy to me, but looking more like a cockerel now.

Last but not least, another likely pullet.
Now, I’m a little sad that the two blacks are pullets because a customer asked for a
cochin or cochin mix cockerel around this age… hoping this guy is a cockerel.

I will be happy with 2 pullets and a cockerel but I am hoping this last one is a cockerel so I can give him to the customer.

Yep, chippy is a boy. Looked like a pullet at the beginning. I'm not used to seeing males with that color pattern.
