Ten days after deworming peafowl, it's advised to re-medicate to ensure newly hatched eggs are killed.

But what if you cannot get to the bird on day 10 because you're out of town? What if you apply the 2nd dosage on day 11, or 12, or even 13. Is this a big deal?

Thanks folks. I reasoned it as if at least 10 days must pass, because I didn't think the Valbazen would be effective on unhatched eggs. I don't know enough about roundworm biology to know when, after hatching, they become sexually mature and start laying. But I'd figure that if you wait too long after that 10 day period there'd be another generation hatched to mature and lay again.
