If I’m doing an experiment that most likely won’t work but I’m super optimistic for no reason other than my kids want chicks, do they count as eggs for the NYD hatchalong? They’re refrigerated eggs.

I’ll be candling on day 4 or 5 to see if there is even a sign of life. I barely set them on the 14th.

I have some pretty eggs in my fridge from a farm down the road (because my chickens are freeloaders) that I'm feeling especially tempted to put in an incubator now, lol.

Are naked necks nice? They’re the only ones I can touch and pick up without much fuss. But they’re also butts to the other hens. I don’t think I handled them more than any other as chicks.

All of the refrigerator eggs hatched for me on the Halloween hal
At least 2 weeks for the oldest down to one week.
