Are naked necks nice? They’re the only ones I can touch and pick up without much fuss. But they’re also butts to the other hens. I don’t think I handled them more than any other as chicks.

We enjoy our necked necks.... DD has been working with her blacks but we have several colors and many white ones

I did a candle tonight and really looked closely at the air cells. I found that all nine eggs that had noticeable embryos seemed to have stabilized and could be put in the turner. When I was moving them into the turner two eggs dove off the shelf and smashed. They were thankfully eggs that had nothing in them. 16 more days.

All of the refrigerator eggs hatched for me on the Halloween hal
At least 2 weeks for the oldest down to one week.

I thought 12-11 was the best by date!

With a packed date of 12-11, there is a very good chance that they will hatch well
