Have you gotten snow? Cold temps? It snowed again today. Just looked you up, You're on Lake Huron. Winter came too soon here on Lake Michigan. I'm so not prepared.

She's a beautiful cross breed of Buff Orpington/Barred Rock X RIR.
I believe her pattern is either pencilled, or pseudo lacing.

It started snowing here around noon, & hasn't stopped.

This sucks! Last winter almost killed me, I was so worried about my girls, I put a heat lamp in the coop for the first time,( I used the Premier 1 heat lamp) I was afraid they were freezing. I built an insulated coop, but it was still soooo cold. I put a wireless thermometer/humidity gauge in their coop so I could monitor the conditions and temps in the coop.
