Been a little busy this week but managed to finish the window screen/hardware cloth frame and get it assembled and installed.

This is the outside, I made some pine strips and screwed them down to hold the hardware cloth and screen in place.

This is the inside, I made it from a bit of western red cedar I had.

The view to the east now is much brighter and cooler.

The outside, I'll make a window sash later and hang it from the top and lock it closed in the winter months. In the summer it will hang below the window opening. On the east side I'm going to add a 2' awning over the window.

I think I'll take five then attack the west wall for it's remake.

Hmm 27 days till the chicks get shipped...

Ok, really I'm done working for the day... ready for a header, sill and cripples.

I have a bit of a problem to solve at the top of the pop door the wires for the motor and sensors come through the wall from the left. So that cripple will be a bit interesting to make as I can't take the OSB off that goes behind the dividing wall without taking the wall down and trust me that ain't going to happen. I think I sip on a glass of red and ponder some solutions to that problem.

I think I'll be done with ventilation project by Sunday... we will see.
