Hi all,
I'm looking to re-home a lot of chickens due to some unfortunate circumstances. I'm 21, moving out, and our chickens can no longer stay with me as I'm moving into a city that prohibits farm-animals. I've raised my chickens to egg-laying adults from when they were hatchlings. I loved doing this as a hobby, and I was (and still am!) passionate about the happiness and well-being of my chickens.
It's always been just me taking care of the chickens: handling, feeding, and otherwise, so I've got a handful that are loveable and familiar with people. The rest, including the roosters, have simply been grown alongside the other chickens as regular farm-animals, and not as accustomed to handling. I've generally worked with all of them with the spare time I've had.

All of my chickens (hens and roosters) are for free.
Also need to get rid of chicken supplies, feed, coop, etc. once the chickens are gone!

You could also try posting on Indiana and Kentucky forums since you're near those too from where I see Ross is located. Good luck and I hope you find them a good home! https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/indiana-bycers-here.730582/page-5792 https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/kentucky-people.110/

Hello, not sure if anyone still checks this post. Just an update as of recently: my chickens have poultry lice, and I have to treat them for about a month. I want to make sure the bugs are completely gone before anyone offers to take them.
I wanted very much to find them a new home, especially my favorite bunch that I raised in my own bedroom. This is a bummer, and definitely makes the situation more stressful because the house they're staying at won't be owned by my family for much longer.

We're hoping the next owners of the house will take the chickens in.

You may still contact me for about two months at the number above with any questions or insight about the chickens (even lice, this is my first time dealing with them).

Thank you BYC for your helpful input & kind offers. 💗

Hello, my name is Rachel.
If you still have chickens, I am greatly interested.

Hello, I am just seeing this post now. If the chickens are OK, I would be greatly interested in picking them up from you. My family has 30 acres that i believe they would accumulate well to and I’d love to get more information and see about possibly taking them in.
