does anyone want me to put together a facebook page for the club we want to start and see how many people are interested in this? call it the "central louisiana poultry club" for now until we figure something else out?

That's fine with me.. I'll start making and posting some ads, mini posters, might make a few phone calls and see where it leads us. Let me know when the site is up and running and i'll go check it out on fb.

Pelican State Classic Poultry Show, Nov 17th, 2012 starts at 9 am to 2. Claiborne Fair Barn in Haynesville, La. Why don't we make plans to meet and check this out to get ideas and make plans.

Sounds like a plan to me.. yes we should have other ways beside facebook to access information. A website, flyers posted before meetings, an ad in the locals papers..and so forth, but before we all can do any of that we need to have a meet n greet somewhere more local before the poultry show and have everyone pitch in there ideas and thoughts of of what they would like to have as a club beside here.

Hdowden, I'll send out emails ask if they would like that. So far there are 14 individuals who are very interested and several have said they are willing to help out as much as they can to get this club a going.
