interesting, can you throw the thread link over here when your on it sometime? I will read it from start when I get a chance. I would appreciate it! I remember on one of the Easter HALS someone hatched a few NN and they were a polish mix, I forget who, but the chicks were sweet looking, wonder what they look like grown! I will have to think about who, I am thinking Tyscoops or I cant remember his exact byc name.

normal, eggs laid on dif days of the clutch often have varied air cells, plus sitting in the coop on a hotter day or on shelf can effect that too. Not sure on the jiggly one, sometimes illness can effect the albumin quality and a bunch of other stuff, mulitple thiings change PH, age etc, check out this link....

Swamped with animal work here but am trying to participate the best I can. For some reason BYC notifications aren't coming to my email.... trying to figure out why. All my settings on here appear to be right. So, forgive me of any slow responses!

This is something too, that I totally spaced this last one........All are marked and being measured. Great forum here, learning so much!

Muscovy are out. The girls are all broody.
oh no! broody and no eggs! isnt that the way it happens!

Thanks Sally

Carry on and check in when you have time! its the perfect time for workin out there!

how cute! can you feather sex them? I was checking out google images and saw the black NN with the red necks! kids were in love with them!

thats a bummer :(   is the temp dial touchy?

I've never got the hang of the feather sexing thing. I can never remember which way it is.

Then there is the thing about fast feathering and slow feathering, and I'm not sure if NN are fast or slow or maybe some of both.
