I think the house temp had a lot to do with it and the weather outside. Lv nv it it's really hot 110 120 temp outside. It's also been stormy lately. My partner replaced both fans to a better model for the unit because inside house got 80 or above with everything running.ac/vaporizer nebulizer humidifier . It has air coming from the bottom it's up with wood.rocks our on the bottom where water goes.last two hatches we didn't have a egg turner and where turning my hand in the little giant.we have a lot of temp issues and humidity issues in them. The ones in there our placed in the other incubator for lockdown in 5 days.

Even if your house temps are above 80 degrees, as long as they are steady you can set an incubator.

What is called a "thermostat" in a cheap incubator is really not. They can be kind of close, or have crazy swings. Or they can be affected by humidity, breeze, sunlight, or other variables.

If you are adding water to your incubator throughout incubation, you may want to try reducing the amount of water you are using. Using a flashlight to monitor the growth of the air cells is a good way to ensure you are not overwetting your eggs. The only time you want high humidity is just before and during hatching.
