Yep, that was my cheapo that the egg exploded in. Worked great until then... Had to throw it away because my hatches would die off 1 by 1.. Hatched chickens, quail, and Guinea eggs in it. Holds temp and humidity great.

So, as long as I don't have any explode, I'm good.

That's still great numbers so far. I'm trying to be patient. I look forward to the 15th when I candle next. I'm manually turning 7x/day and decided to skip the Day 7 candle to give them more time. The 15th is Day 10 for the rare breeds and Day 7 for the Brabanters.

I'm happy so far! For a newbie hatcher with shipped eggs and my first time using the Brinsea. It'll be fun to compare hatches

Hi all,
I would love to join!
I have been talking myself out of hatching more eggs for several months now. Even when I started collecting eggs several days ago and setting them in cartons, I just kept telling myself that I wouldn't do it. Every time I turn the cartons I'm telling myself I'm not gonna do it.
Well I saw this hatch-along and plugged my incubator in a couple hours ago to start warming up. I guess now I HAVE to hatch more eggs. Yeah.

I'm excited to join. Good luck everyone.

Fingers crossed that my set batch made it.. were without power for 12 hours and I was asleep for most of it, so the eggs got down to 75. EXPENSIVE eggs!

They were on day 7, hoping they just suspended and didn't all die off.. making myself wait to candle. Best of luck to everyone setting now! May you not have smooth incubation!

I can't get my humidty down. I have almost no water and my temps holding steady at 100° but the humitudy is hovering around 65%. Should I remove all the water?

This happened during my first hatch. I chose to remove all the water and it ran at 35% dry. Is your hygrometer calibrated?
