I totally get why people like socialism. It makes everything "fair" so everyone can enjoy life--so there's no people drowning in money or homeless people who have nothing. It balances and fixes people's financial problems.
The only major flaw in socialism, is it discourages hard-working people. Here's why: say there's a 30 year old guy who is free-loading off his parents and plays video games all day. He's never held a job, and he never plans to. Since he is now in the "low" class, he gets lots of tax money--and "makes" $50,000 a year. Then, there's the guy who went to 8 years of college to become a neurosurgeon. He works 18 hour shifts somedays, and his job is endless and stressful. He would be in the upper class for all his hard work. However, with taxes, he makes $50,000. Which would discourage his hard work, so he quits his job and makes the same amount of money. And suddenly, what would be the upper class disappears and everyone is poor.
I get why people like, but I think
people who have more money should give willing to people struggling financially, instead of the government forcing them to give it to people who may or may not need it. That's my view, it's my opinion, and I still highly respect yours

, but I'm not arguing or anything--just putting in my "two cents."
