Pyxis is right, if you want tame goslings you would need to incubate some eggs yourself and spend as much time as possible with them every day. The goslings that the geese raise are usually little snots, even wilder than the parents. Even incubating, raising and spending time with them will not guarantee that they stay tame. 5 of mine I raised, they lived in the house, carried like puppies, I walked them to the pond everyday and sat with them for hours while they ate grass... I can't get within 50ft of them once they are turned loose with the others. Unless I have food and even then they are ready to run the first time I make a wrong move(usually breathing lol)
Ive tried taking the goslings from the geese when they hatch & keeping them for at least 2 weeks to tame them. A nightmare! They are screaming inside the parents screaming outside, anyone that goes out the door gets flogged. That bond they make when they imprint on their parents is strong. Incubated goslings Imprint on us too but I don't believe it's as strong, even if i stood there with a big orange nose and covered in feathers I still don't think they would give two honks.
