Welcome home chickies! They all have nice clean fluffy butts and got a good drink of water and they’ve been going to town on the food. Not pictured here is one barred rock that was hanging out under MHP.

Update on my chicks: My six older girls that are in the coop don’t like venturing into their run yet. They like the safety of the coop much more. They also find hours of enjoyment in pulling the straw out of their nesting boxes.
My five week old babies are starting to develop more character as the days progress. Unfortunately one of my Black Ameraucana has developed a reddening comb. It’s also almost a third heaver than my other birds. He went from being named Myrtle to Walnut. We call him Wally for short. I’m thankful I can have Roosters where I live, & very thankful that out of every breed we got, the one cockerel we turned out having is a rare pure breed.
