2019 Spring Ducklings are here!

You can unscrew the bottle from the bottom, clean it (!), fill the bottle with water and turn the whole thing over:

It lasts for a few seconds… Just kidding! I have to refill it 4-5 times a day.
Filled up at ~10pm it lasts barely for the night, together with the three-hole Apple-Cider bottle-waterer.

Does anybody know how to assign a thumbnail picture to an article?
On my article page there is a thumbnail for my coop-article (i don't know how that was assigned) but for my other two articles there isn't. I'd like to change that but i don't know how.

Did you figure this out yet?

It was a rash and sudden decision to get sodapop... I was devastated when fancy died. He took so much work for me to get him to trust me, and then he became my cuddlebug. I thought getting a new male duckling to raise would help ease the grief and pain. I also felt I needed a male to protect my speedy and the twins. I have sugarbaby now because none of fancys eggs hatched either.

I think they see me as a protector aka drake now, though sugar still sees me as mama and speedy gets all jelly and chases her.

I hope those ppl are taking care of your pekin... I wasn't as active much after fancy died - except to @Miss Lydia and @casportpony. They tried to help me save him...

The Pekin Drake disappeared after a day and a half. The hen is by herself and wont come off the pond. I have not heard from them this week.

Are you going to get the hen back?

I have not heard from them this week. Supposedly they are looking for another duck. They will not get either of my remaining drakes but if a responsible person needs one I will consider it.

I think If I brought some peas or my wife did that Curley would come off their pond.Maybe my wife will talk to them today and see what they want to do.Maybe I am being too harsh on them. Their pond is fenced in with hog panel on the bottom but they found a hole a couple days after King disappeared .King was a bully, our least favorite of our brood, and almost got rehomed to the crockpot. It still feels bad that he is gone.

I can only agree with having a drake! My Donald is a terrible bully - hence his name - but when it comes to stand guard he is great! He even learned that those loud giant birds (C-130, National Guard) do not pose any threat and does no longer ring the alarm. But a hawk in the sky: WAAAAK! WAAAAK! WAAAAK! - Run girls run! And he is the last to run in, he even lets Limpy in first.

Nope, i already sent a »contact us« message to the BYC team and received no answer.
