I just got home to quite the surprise! There is a chick hatched and another on the way out. One is from the eggs that I thought might have frozen.

How old is he? Sometimes the younger males don’t quite get to the point of sitting on the eggs. They figured out the nesting part and collecting eggs, but don’t make it to the sit part.

That makes sense. Hes 3 first egg session though

Used IQ Bird Testing for the first time and the turn around was less than 24 hours. Not bad!

Well now I have another egg peeping at me. This has been the most drawn out hatch I have ever had.

The two that were due yesterday are still hanging out in their shells. Due as in day 48. Giving it a couple more days. But pulled them off the turners Saturday, hopefully that didn’t cause any issues.

When does everyone else pull them off the turners?

I usually do it when I see the egg level back out - or when I hear it peep at me, lol.
