I have two thermo/hygros....one says 98.6 degrees and 40 humidity. The other says 101 degrees and 38 humidity....so I'm averaging that out to say it's all good right now!

I'm at 35% and 100. So, I guess I'm good.

Did you see the post on here somewhere about callibrating your temp and humidity. I did mine for the humidity, it was easy.

I haven't seen that post yet, will have to look about the calibrating.

My humidity keeps dropping & I have to add a very small amt. of water & then it is good. Does anyone know why it would drop like that? I would think if I am not opening the bator that is would stay constistant. ????

100.2/47 at ten o'clock.
I went to candle the cochin eggs to find one had exploded, five were clear and the last one is questionable. I only left the ? one in there. I was afraid the others might explode too and contaminate my other silkie & cochin eggs.
Hopefully it wasn't in there long exploded. I hurried up and wiped the turner out as much as I could and checked the egg that exploded and it was not fertile either. I emailed the person I got the eggs from on Ebay and they are sending more the end of the week so I guess today is day one on Maries eggs.

I am hoping this egg didn't contaminate my other eggs. I just put them in yesterday.
I need prayers please.
