Of course it's easier for me to be confident when they aren't my chicks. I see nothing that says roos.
oh I love his little face. I see just how RED the comb is, and the wattles. and how much lighter his color is overall. this is a great comparison photo! thanks!I have a picture of my Barred Rock Bantam cockerel at 2-3 weeks and he already had more comb than she does!

I see just how much lighter and whiter he is compared to the pullets! great comparison photos I appreciate you sharing!Here is a barred rock pullet next to her barred rock brother for you to see the difference in feather colour/pattern.
And a better photo of the cockerel next to his cross breed siblings who look like female barred rocks.
