Waldo is doing a lot better today I think, he’s stopped limping which makes me think either he’s just got a funny walk sometimes or he just stepped funny and had a stiff leg. He’s not sneezing as much as before but he’s still itching a bit, seems to be less though so that’s a good sign! He seems to be less boisterous than the others, but still eating and drinking fine so perhaps that’s just his personality. Is it normal for some ducklings to be a little shy? I’ve been sprinkling brewers yeast on their food and will continue to do so. Thanks for your help and interest!Keep us updated on them all!!
My hubby found this amazing food w EVERYTHING they need in it and they LOVE IT!!! MY DISABLED DUCKLING IS EVEN FINALLY EATTING A LOT AND ON HIS OWN! We are also giving them 1cc of a B12 supplement in addition to the food. It's by Purina just says "DUCk." Has a momma and 2 babies. Red top and whit middle w clear stripe after then about 4 inches on green. Says under Purina, " optimim Nutrition for DmStrong Starts and Healthy Duck." Has 55ppm or 25 mg/lb niacin prebiotics, probiotics and bo added antibiotics or hormones. Item number 3004428-245Thanks! He did seem to have some white flaky bits around his beak the other day so maybe it’s just that. I hope the itching stops soon as it can’t be comfortable for the little thing! I’m now a bit worried about his walking as he seems to have a slight limp but no sign of injury! I’ve just ordered some brewers yeast as I figured it couldn’t hurt to strengthen his little legs a bit!
