3wk amberlink hen or Roo?

Hello everyone! I didn’t realize that chicken math existed until we continued to buy more and more chickens. That being said, this little guy/gal is our 3 week old amberlink. That is what the sign said the breed is, but I don’t have a clue. This is our first go around with chickens and we love it so far, but I couldn’t tell you the breeds to save my life. I don’t have a name for this lovely fella/lady yet. We have 24 chickens total and I’m trying to figure names out based on personalities. Looks like a cockerel to me since the comb and wattles are very pronounced and red. The other chicks we got at the same time are pale pink.

I don't know the breed either, but that looks like a cockeral to me.

It’s so nice you can keep them!!! You should post the older ones to see if they’re cockerels too.

How old are they?
Freckles is a cockerel. Scarlet is a cockerel.
Barred rock looks like a female and I am not exactly sure about the white one. There is not that big of waddles on her, so I’m guessing female but I’m not exactly sure.

Those pics they are 6 weeks. They will be 9 weeks this Thursday. I will try to get new photos of them tomorrow.

Okay, my Ancona has a crown like the white one at that age and it ended up being a girl. But I would wait until it’s older to know for sure on that one.
