400 chickens STOLEN!

Oddly enough Buddy she has dogs and they did not utter a bark the night her hens where stolen......it was very well organised whoever did the ghastly crime!

Well if the chickens houses are that far away from the house, maybe a video security system would be a great investment for her.

I can't stand a thief. Problem is.....there is more out there just like them.

Too bad for her! 400 is a lot of birds to go missing. i was wondering if she had a dog, but you said she did and the dog didn't bark. That makes me think that maybe the dog knew the person(s) that did the deed?! Idunno........
Chupacabra? haa!!! that critter only lives in South America!!!

About a month ago here in Maine, there was a report in the local paper about someone stealing 25,000 eggs from a big hatchery in the area. It is the biggest egg producer in New England, I believe, and they were all brooder stock. Figure that one out..........

Aw so sad 4 your neighbor. That is creepy. Myabe homeowners insurance or maybe she can get some sort of grant somehow. To replenish her stock. How many chicken did she have before she added the 400?
