So cute!!!

Oh wow! Your brooder is MUCH fuller than mine (but then it's GINORMOUS compared to mine too!)

It's hard to tell in the picture - do you have a count on how many of each breed you ended up with? You got LOTS of white ones!

I did decide 100% that the ducklings I got in my "Bargain Duckling Assortment" are all Stanbridge Whites - I found some pictures of Magpie ducklings, and some pictures of Appleyard ducklings, and if mine were White Appleyards, they'd have shorter, wider bills. I'm SOOO excited!

LOVELY!! 50 at once! And I thought 6 in the brooder was a handful.

I have Silver Appleyards, but have never heard of or seen a white appleyard. I searched but couldn't find any pics or info. Anyone got any pics of one full grown?

There's a picture of a White Appleyard and an Ancona here (scroll down a bit, it's in the first post). They look a lot like Pekins:

I found a really great picture of a White Appleyard that someone got an an "extra" from Holderreads years ago on this website:

But, it doesn't look like the picture is there anymore - I saved it to my computer, so I'm posting it - it is not mine, it belongs to the author of the aforementioned website:

You are making me feel better about having 17 four week old ducklings in my spare room. I think I'm going to have to repaint the walls, the smell in there is so bad even though I am cleaning constantly. I can't imagine 50. I am contemplating how early and how much I can move them to their outside enclosure!
