Lock down for my quail eggs. I am not even sure if they will hatch. I cannot candle them and do not have the patience to water candle them.

I that picture on my phone, so it was tiny, and thought........ Why did they put chocolate chip cookie dough in their incubator?! Good grief! I'm going to go have some coffee now.... Or a nap.

I did my last candle, except for maybe a water candle before lockdown, just for fun. I tossed 5, (and by tossed I mean put in the freezer because my roommate was horrified that I was putting them in the trash.) The rest look good.

That leaves all 8 Lavender Marans, 1 Araucana, 1 OE?Isbar?, 1 Brabanter, and 4 Silkie.

My Silkie/X that I set on Dec 18th are showing no signs of life. I don't know why none of them would be developing, unless they got frozen or something during shipping. So, I may be participating in the Vday HAL after all. I really want some Silkie Mixes!

Your luck its has been raining since yesterday and going to rain for Christmas

I am looking forward to a bit of a dry spell so that I can get the roof shingles on the roof of my big coop fixed. I need to cover where the roof opens up on hinges.

We are predicted to have a normal winter for January to Marc which should get the lakes and ground water up. We have just finished three years of drought.
