LOVELOVELOVE. Is it possible for two black BAs (maybe with a recessive blue gene each, unknown) to produce a blue chick? I've got two in the brooder right now that look like your blue babies....... Possible or right out?? I'm praying the Gods of Chicken Genetics heard my silent plea and sent me a random blue Lorp! ♡ MrsB

You will have to wait until they grow out but usually the black australorp is bred to a blue orpington or blue langhsan to get blue australorps. The next generations would need to be selectively bred to get the Australorp shape back.LOVELOVELOVE.
