I wasn't really sure about this egg because it was so dark.
Did I lose it before or after lockdown?

My *guess* would be before. I think more of the organs are supposed to be inside the body by then?

All 14 have movement and progression in their air pockets. Starting lockdown now.

Waiting anxiously for the humidity to go up and temps to stabilize so we know we're ready for the long haul.

Those three days..oh man!

3 ducklings and 5 isbars out. One more Isbar egg has pipped, but I haven't seen any action since this morning.

Congratulations! Cuties. Isbars, pretty birds.

7 have hatched so far and another is pipped. Still waiting on 2. Have 4 others that are due on Thursday. I'm at 80% for shipped eggs so I'm pretty excited about that.

I missed this years because I've been so busy at work but it's starting to work out for me now, a little more time to take care of the birds. I'll be trying to hatch fir Vakebtines day though.

Severely deformed. This chick would never have been compatible with life. Organs are supposed to be inside the body, the beak and skull are deformed, and it seems like a brain did not properly form. Nothing you could have done to prevent this.

The random number is fairly high this time but reachable if the post count goes up!

It's been about 3 hours since it hatched and it's by itself in the stinky incubator. I'm feeling bad
