I haven't had issues with egg customers. But I only sell to people we know and they all said they are worth it compared to store bought eggs. We had just been giving family eggs for free until I sent home 8 Orps home with my aunt last spring and now they have their own eggs. My other aunt that lives in the cities loves our eggs but is too far to get them lol. But when she was here the other day her, her husband and 2 toddlers ate a dozen eggs by themselves because they were so good.

Had someone from the job I retired from, call asking advise.. she then asked about buying organic chicken from me BECAUSE THE STORE WANTED TOO MUCH

I told her I was higher than the mass produced chicken and I was only raising enough for ME!

Its aggravating to say the least. I'm not fond of uninvited goobers on the best of days. And I always have issues when someone tries to talk down something THEY WANT FROM ME. Really gets me in a mood to go collect all the Beware of alligator signs

Want to talk about Goobers and aggravating.

I have huge "Keep out" "AUTHORIZED PERSONAL ONLY"

Bio-security containment area... and a Visitor must receive permission before entering signs all around..

Including one right smack in the middle of the drive. It cannot be missed.

This idiot, about 2 weeks ago, parked right in front of it. I was out in the barn. I saw him but ignored him. I was busy and my wife was home, he can talk to her.

He went to the door, she was in the basement and did not hear him. He them decided to just take a hike out to see me.....

When I saw him about halfway between the barn and the sign I went to him.


I asked him what he was doing, he wanted to sell me some annuity, or insurance of something.


I asked him then if he saw the signs..

His response " what signs"..

"the one you're parked in front of".

Goober: " I didn't know it applied to me because I am here on business".

Me: "what business"

Goober " selling insurance and annuities".

Me" Did I invite you here?"

Goober " no, but I stop at farms all the time"

Me " did you see the signs"

Goober : "I said, I didin;t think it applied to me".

Me :" then just who, in the (deleted) do you think the (deleted) sign applies too, turn you (deleted) around and get (deleted) off here as fast (deleted) legs will carry your fast (double deleted)....




I am pretty sure he was related to your goober JR based on how he left. I doubt he will be back..


I have another sign my SIL gave me, but my wife won't let me put it up. I will someday soon.

Ralphie, I love it--but be cautious as some liberal prosecutors have successfully argued that the sign = premeditation. I also love my neighbor's sign. It simply states: "We don't dail 911, we call 1911"

So where was your No Solicitors sign? He probably would not have thought it applied to him.

I'm looking for a "Warning: Attack Turkey" sign. The way Annie goes off when someone she doesn't know turns up will make you stop and think. She looks fierce but most of the time if she's screaming at someone and I pick her up she peeps like a baby....

Finnie, are you in Indi proper, north or south of it? Reason I ask is because there's a bad storm brewing that looks like its outer reach will hit just south of indi. Memphis is clear as its forming north east of her.
