A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Well, Ralphie. You might get your wish. Sabrina almost killed her baby today. The duckling got its head caught in chickenwire. It was dangling, and she kept walking away (from me. She was actually raised by a duck pair after 8-weeks, and I didn't interfere. So she doesn't want me too near her). I got him out, but if it happens again...

Turkey Mothers are so over protective anytime you touch their babies or get close they go nuts and will almost stomp them to death trying to keep a person away from them....glad it worked out...

Or as glad as I can be considering..well,, you know...:lau

Turkey shelter, 40 feet from its original position. Tie wire for the power pole saved the fence.

Mabel was spared during freezer camp this weekend. By the time we were done with the chickens it was getting hot and I offered to help my great aunt in the garden so I did that instead. So Mabel lives another day.

Ethel Jrs daughter is finally laying again too. The slacker quit laying when Ethel Jr went broody.
