I learned that one years ago when I blew one up lol. The trick is short times in the microwave. No more than 10 seconds at a time lol

Hey all, I'm considering getting turkeys but I have a few questions about them
1) how noises are they, I have guineafowl and chickens which my neighbours tolerate but I don't want anything loader for example pea fowl would be too noisy.... the neighbours are about a field away.

2) do they free range well, the breed I'd be getting are bronze. I was hoping they could free range with the guineafowl and perch in the tree at night with the Guineas.

3) how friendly are they? Will they be aggressive or will they be tame?

ha be glad it did before you bit into it... I had one that exploded in my mouth and face.. burned areas it hit.. no fun

Everyone will answer that differently. I think the turkeys are smarter than the chickens . How tame they are is a result of how much you interact with them. Turkeys GOBBLE GOBBLE LOUDLY. The biggest problem is the get on EVERYTHING. Fence,roof,truck and they don't distinguish between yours and the neighbors. Peacocks in my experience are fairly quiet, I love to hear their call. If your raising Guinea and THEIR RACKET doesn't drive you crazy but a peacock's does, your a very strange person.lol
