My young boys love to fly. So do the young girls. I'm battling the wilds again, they keep flirting with my boys getting them all worked up. Right now all my girls are in the convent, so the boys are easily distracted by the wilds.

Right now everyone is kept in until afternoon to encourage the young chicken hens to use the nest boxes instead of hiding nests outside. When they are let out in the afternoon, almost all of the turkeys take a quick flight followed by a good run. You would think it is a prison break the way they act.Seriously....anybody else have a turkey that just enjoys flying around for the heck of it?

I've still got two toms who fly over the fence and then wander throughout the day. They act like they don't know how to get back in until dinner is offered then they have no problem flying over the fence to get dinner.
You know....they have that non-toxic colored spray for hair that washes right out. Maybe, if I can find the right colors the girls could go as PEAHENS!! LOL!!
I think it would be funny to dress Daisy as a peahen. Annie is red....not sure what to dress her as. Maybe a little devil!! Maybe a ballarina with just a little tulle skirt. Someday I'm going to actually do this!! My neighbors would die seeing the girls dressed in costumes on our evening stroll.
