A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I have hardly any grass at all. It’s cold and windy, but at least no tornadoes like you guys. I put the geese out this morning because it looked like being sunny. Immediately it clouded over and now it’s supposed to snow. I cleaned out their stock tank and put them back in. We are officially going to move. One of these days...

Apparently mine don't want to take the time to go broody. They have too much of a social life to bother with sitting in a corner. Too much to see & do in the hood. Or maybe, they aren't given a chance since I'm there to snatch those eggs as soon as they lay them...

Your girls would miss way too much if they went broody! They probably wouldn't be able to stand it lol

Speaking of broodies, we have a new broody bunch... Sort of. Lil and Princess are happily caring their babies (sex link cockerels). The second that Pebbles realized they had babies, she instantly became broody and has started sitting in the nest. She's not really moving around or anything but Princess and Lil aren't really taking their babies anywhere so they spend their day climbing under and over Pebbles and and the other girls lol

Check this chick out! I noticed her this morning. Every year, the local feed mill gives away free chicks based on how much feed you purchased. I always sell mine but this one here will be staying and growing up with us. She's a 4-legged lady! She has her normal 2 legs that work just fine and these two extra, little legs that hang/cross by her butt!
