Me too, but it was just not meant to be. Mr T's problem and his over enthusiastic mating habits plus the screwy rules.

But with any luck we will have Holm's bird NPIP next year, Mr T will be older and wiser. Then things will work out. I was slow getting breeder pens done. and spring hit early.

My experience is that if a tom has bad mating practices to start with, they just get worse with age.

If @holm25 had done AI, his hen would not have gotten cut.

I tried AI! I need to watch some videos on it first. I know how to do it but storeys guide to turkeys was a little blunt in showing how to do it!

I think you need to find a class on it somewhere. I would think where you live the tech schools would have them.
