A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I think in mine when the head goes all white they are really excited or really mad.  I never trust them when the head is white.

I had one with a white head walking towards and alongside of me tonight and giving me stink eye..  I explained to him what happens to a Tom that should do something stupid this close to Easter.

Mr. Ts head has only gone white once. And that is when a child was harassing his hen. That was last spring. Other than that he has never "gone white" on me.

I thought in tom head colors

Red: is showing dominence or aggitation.

White: is passive or contented.

White/blue: ready to breed.

But just what I've noticed from hunting and my turkeys.

On another note my crossbeak EE was dead when I checked them this afternoon. She lived longer than I thought as bad as the beak was.

Notice the color change as big red Tom enjoys the love from Esther. Don't worry, Esther knows never to completely trust a male during breeding season, but still, she does love cuddling him. He seems to almost enjoy it too, once he relaxed.

I've noticed one of the Rp toms do a little strut dance then he squats real low and starts hopping BACKWARDS.. The first time he done this I thought he was ON a hen. Is this behavior nornal
