They get along with THEIR chicken

My turkeys get along for the most part with the chickens they're with...a chicken hen from another pen got in with the turkeys and the turkeys had her in a corner pecking her head... fortunately I rescued her... but she had a torn comb and neck

Yeah, he was defentily attacking them but only the weak ones. And also something I didn't mention is I just butchered top Tom so he is taking a bad streak.

Mine have been raised with the chickens forever. They seem to get along fine..

However. like a rooster if they find a meek hen that is visibly afraid or shies from them....they will breed her to death...

Okay, that's what I was thinking... But he finally got himself a name after 2-months... Protector of the dead.

Supposedly that is the Midget White although there is dispute as to whether they actually exist anymore.

Royal Palms are probably the smallest heritage turkey still around.

Azul is officially a boy He gobbled for me the other day. He even did it twice, just to make sure that I heard him. I'm really rather disappointed. It always seems my luck that every blue turkey I get turns out to be a boy. Of course, as much as I like him, I want to keep the penciled gene so Mister gets to stay, and Azul must go. I was hoping to breed those two together too. I guess THAT won't be happening.
