A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Pink fuzzy saddles for cute pictures only! I just thought they'd be adorable.

We went guinea hunting again. They are hanging out at a neighbors house. She has chickens. No luck. We are getting more & more neighbors joining in the reindeer games. At least most of the neighbors now know they aren't my turkeys! It was raining so we had a strategy meeting mostly. One of the guys admitted he can't eat turkey anymore due to meeting Daisy. Geez...

Oh they absolutely would be! :love What a concept... glamour photography for poultry. :clap I wasn’t laughing at you. I was laughing at the idea of rooster footprints on the ladies’ wraps.

Actually with so much poultry being kept as pets, I absolutely wouldn’t discount the idea that some of us might be interested in glamour-girl duds for a camera shoot.

Funny, Molpet :)

I had a Dr apt yesterday and was waiting for the lab. There was a real chatty Kathy across the room who started talking to a young guy sitting near me. The kid was telling this guy how nice cows are... too friendly to eat. Too personable, too much red meat, cholesterol, etc. I’m guessing vegan. Now while I would agree wholeheartedly with regard to certain cows of my acquaintance (you listenin’ Ralphie?:p), I had to bite my tongue (not really) to keep myself from looking up from my video and asking the kid how he thought cows would survive if people *didn’t* grow them for food. People get attached. I know. I do, too. But there are an awful lot of people who just don’t think things through at all.

the anti fur people let a bunch of mink loose near me years ago....like they know how to find food in the wild

I like the idea of using denim. You could even upcycle (Notice how I used that trendy word, so smooth? I’m hip. View attachment 1695140) I made a bunch of bags from DH’s old jeans and use them all the time. Old denim is softer. Maybe you could get away with just serging the edges.

I still think of them as "rags".
