I don't think these would've ever gotten out unassisted.
There wasn't any shrink wrapping but that membrane was tough like rubber! I actually used a little pair of snub nose scissors to remove part of it. I've never had a duck egg membrane that tough.
They were in there so tight I don't think they could move to do anything. I could be wrong. . but since they are all hatched and alive at the moment I'm calling it a success
