A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I don't think these would've ever gotten out unassisted.
There wasn't any shrink wrapping but that membrane was tough like rubber! I actually used a little pair of snub nose scissors to remove part of it. I've never had a duck egg membrane that tough.
They were in there so tight I don't think they could move to do anything. I could be wrong. . but since they are all hatched and alive at the moment I'm calling it a success :celebrate

i have about 24 hens, 6 Roosters, 2 chicks that hatched 3 weeks ago, 4 ducks, 1 goose, 2 turkeys, 1 old guinea, 3 pygmy goats (and about 12 guinea eggs in the incubator)...
And then there's my fish I have as pets too, 5 Iridescent Sharks, 200+ fancy guppies (and still counting as there are enough females that keep dropping 30+ babies a month), 20 albino Corydora catfish, a Plecostamus, and a few dozen Southern Redbellied Dace minnows, and Rosy Red minnows. (I have so many guppies because I have been trying to produce a bloodline of guppies my grandfather used to have 30+ years ago)

so sweet. Goodnight little poult :love

Loving all these baby pictures!!
As usual, R2elks photos of his sweetgrass are stunning!

Ok....I have 6 chickens, four of which are senior citizens. And the three turkeys...Daisy and the two poults. And how do I keep my numbers down? They live in a convent!! LOL

If I hatched turkeys I'd need an intervention! Instead of the "Crazy Cay Lady"... I'd end up being the "Crazy Tutkey Lady". Can you just see me taking a flock on a nightly walk?

Wait, you mean there are folks that can actually count how many they have?????? That's just not possible here.

Lol! I only know how many I have right now because I just had a swap last weekend and someone take my 22 extra roos the other day!

I miss keeping my big tank going. We had a few piranhas which were really boring unless they were eating and a big Oscar fish. I loved that fish! He had so much personality lol. I always kept a pleco too. They get SO big! I think the biggest I've had was probably 18"?
