I was curious how Daisy would handle the new girls. Typical Daisy....she's layed back about the whole thing. No pecking or squabbling. They seem to give her wide birth. She sits on my lap observing the whole affair. However, here is the coonhounds reaction when I told him we were getting more turkeys.

Haha! I love the coonhound's reaction! They're gorgeous girls You're going to have quite the lovely group of ladies!

I will haven't figured out who's laying yet but the eggs are randomly laid. One on the poop board, one in the middle of the coop and one out in the mud in the run Now I'm trying to make up my mind.... Should I fire up the incubator, or risk giving them to the silkie who just decided that she wants to be broody. I don't trust unproven hens...

Narragansett Semi-Color Semi-Gray

hens - bb1 Ccg dd E- n- RR SlSl SpSp PnPn

toms - bb1 Ccg dd EE nn RR SlSl SpSp PnPn

The semi-color refers to the single color (C) gene and the semi-gray refers to the single gray (cg) gene.

Of course this assumes that neither are carrying any hidden recessive color genes.
