gosh darn, i am missing a hen and i think she is either nesting or the stupid skunks got her. I am more inclined towards nesting but after loosing a considerable number of cockerels the other day, i just don't know! One of my favorite blue sweetgrass yearling hens, too! I am getting some super fantastic color this year from Slater and all the blue girls, I bet I will be seeing some lavenders this year! I want to see some!

I can’t, my arthritis and dupuytun’s is getting too bad. I won’t be able to care for them much longer.

I wish I could keep them, but it’s best for them to go elsewhere.

I had a friend over yesterday, that I play guitar with and I found I can’t do that anymore. It’s sad, but a fact of life. If not for well placed cortisone I wouldn’t be doing anything.

I will continue to do as much as I can, but, heck that’s the way life goes.

This is rough news, and I am sorry to read it. No doubt you will continue to impart your excellent information on turkeys and your dubious opinions on ducks, and the former will be valued, as always. However, I do hope there is a way for you to continue to keep some kind of poultry. Just something small and self-sufficient that you can feed on the deck when Judy isn't looking... otherwise you'll find new kinds of mischief... and actually, that could be very entertaining. Okay, carry on, but do keep us posted!
