Took a few pics of the 3 new Red Sweetgrass poults along with 3 Fall Fire,1 Red Palm,1 Blue penciled Palm,1 Tri Color Penciled Palm, 1Bronze. Some of my new breeding stock.

I mostly kept the lighter whiter colored Sweetgrass poults this year. Don't have many of the whiter ones most of my breeding stock is much darker like the big guy in middle of pic.

Most of my toms have been molting and looking pretty shabby after long breeding season.

Yesterday eve I just finished putting the ducks into their enclosure, when I noticed a Wild Eastern hen walking out of the pines along the pond. She just stood there for a while, I thought she had seen me, but she was just checking everything out. Then 3 poults that looked to be about 11 to 12 weeks old stepped out. They fed along the yard between the pond and pines. I was able to sit down in a chair on the beach without scaring them and able to watch them feed and chase each other around for about 20 min. The neighbor asked me 2 weeks ago if any of my birds had gotten out because he had been seeing them in the pines between our houses heading towards my yard. This is the first I have seen them, but she must be razing them around our houses.
