A Dangerous Topic - the new health care plan

Keep in mind that insurance coverage DOES NOT equal CARE.

I don't have insurance. I can get health care whenever I need it. I just have to pay out of pocket. If I go to the city hospital, I can even make payment arrangements for high bills.

Insurance is something that funnels money that could go to health care AWAY to other purposes....like buying lobbyists

there is also another goverment run healtcare besides the VA. It's called medicare.which I have , only mine is thru Humana, a (not sure what to call it) but if I go to see a dr. I pay $15.00. this was supposed to cover my entire visit.and it does IF i don't get a shot, don't have lab work or x rays done. these are extra. Under regular medicare after you pay your ded, they pay what THEY think is a reasonable amount.My last EKG, Humana was billed $126.00 they paid $6.25. IMHO this new program they are trying to past stinks, maybe I don't understand all of it, but what I do, I don't like. marrie

The change federal health care will bring is to give everybody the poor service for all except for the bureaucrats.

Because it is neither their job nor their business what my personal "health plan" is.

I'll say it again...you will be sorry people if this plan gets through...this actually scares me. It really does. I dont want to lose control of my health care options and choices. IF this plan goes through we will be at the governments mercy.(YES, we will be!) And frankly, thats not a place i want to be. Sadly, i dont trust them enough. I'm proud to be an American, but not proud of my government.

And to all you Canadians, you say your health plan works wonderful....
well..you dont have OUR govt. The USA and Canada are 2 totally different run countries... 'nuff said there...

exactly - good plan or bad plan - it's ALL bad, because it is not their job to take care of all of us (in that fashion).

Health Care Management is not part of their Job Description.
