A little about my farm in pictures

WOW woman!! When do you sleep!!! You lead a very busy but obviously very fulfilling life. I think I speak for many here that you are living the life of our dreams.

It would be fun to just come up and follow you around/help when needed for a week.(or forever)

Thanks all! If any of you are in 'my' neck of the woods.... come visit!! Stay in the cabin with the squirrels! Fully insulated... well, not the floor, and has a nice little woodstove!! Just bring a cooler with food! It has a barbeque there!! AND!!!!!!!!!!!! A portapotty.. hidden in the trees! Running water is wayyyyyyyyyy down in the ravine.. but its clean! Crayfish live in it!! (probably poop in it too, lol).

Unfortunately, friends and family take what honey and syrup there is... left over. We also have 4 off farm jobs besides working this farm! At least with driving the school bus, I have the summers off. Unfortunately, theres 100 acres of hay that needs attention, and we usually do 3 cuttings. ALOT of time is spent on the tractor raking. Then,I get the mowing job, for the small squares. Good thing most goes into large round bales!!

You and your family work very hard but you are living a beautiful dream life. Thank you for sharing with us. Do you have any photos of your garden? I am assuming you have one due to all those pickles!

Do you have any idea what that bull calf weighed?

The fact that he was even born let alone alive amazes me.

I would guess about 130lbs.. maybe more. Theres no way I could ever lift him. I used to be able to lift a normal calf tho, lol. In my younger days. This one WAS a monster. I have never seen one bigger, although we did have a real biggy about 8 years ago. I wonder if I can find that picture. Sadly tho, its mama died, after she threw her calfbed.... just after the vet left.
