Ack.The Things We Do For Our Pets.....

I had duck eggs due this week, well they started hatching, I had six out and dried off. Cut to 3 am this morning, power outage.
I checked the incubator, a little duck was trying to hatch and by this time the incubator was getting cold.
Sigh....I peeled some of the shell away and let him hatch the rest of the way in my bra.
I didnt know what else to do!!

So, until 1 pm this afternoon, when the power came back on, he was warm.
I guess insanity doesnt have its limits.....

I told my mom and she said she wasnt surprised, that it was on par with something I would do.
Craziness....

I put incubating eggs in my bra because the power went out...but they werent actually hatching. They fit right under my boobs. Its ok cuz they were just bantam eggs. They all hatched too.

Well, I am glad I am not the only one that has ever done this or even considered it!!!
I think he needs an appropriate name but havent thought of a family friendly one yet.

They don't make cups big enough for me to be able to fit eggs in there. I'd be able to fit one egg inbetweenn...
